These 5/8" western reins in harness leather are made for riders who prefer a substantial rein with a supple feel. The harness leather is very thick while remaining supple in use. The slightly heavier front and end sections give the reins a pleasantly heavy feel in the hand. That makes them a practical choice for western riding when you prefer a more substantial rein design.
