SHIPPING - EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Here you will find the key information about shipping costs, delivery times and delivery destinations at Westernhorse-Tack. We usually ship with DHL or German Post. In-stock items are normally dispatched within 1–3 working days after the order is placed. Actual delivery times may vary depending on the carrier and product availability.
Standard shipping within Germany costs a flat rate of €6.90. Shipping to selected EU countries currently costs €16.00. Please contact us if you would like to arrange delivery to another country.
Due to applicable EU packaging regulations, direct shipping through the online shop is currently available to selected countries only. If your country is not listed at checkout, please contact us. We will be happy to check whether an individual shipping solution is possible.
Information on delivery times
Delivery times depend on whether an item is in stock or needs to be ordered from a supplier. Please check the availability information on the relevant product page before placing your order.
- In stock and available: The item is available and can be prepared for dispatch. In-stock goods are normally dispatched within 1–3 working days after ordering.
- Out of stock or on order: The item needs to be reordered or sourced specifically for a customer. Depending on the supplier and the origin of the goods, availability may take approximately 2–8 weeks.
- Currently unavailable: If no delivery date is known, the item may not be available to order directly through the online shop. Please contact us if you are interested.
If you would like an update on a specific item, we can contact the supplier to ask about the expected delivery time. For questions about availability or delivery, please use our Contact Form or email.
PAYMENT METHODS AT WESTERNHORSE-TACK
Westernhorse-Tack offers several payment methods for your order. Available options and any restrictions are displayed during checkout. Please pay particular attention to the stated order limits for PayPal.
Payment in advance
If you choose payment in advance, you transfer the invoice amount to our bank account. Your order will be dispatched once the payment has been received. You will receive our bank details and your order number by email after completing your order.
Please include your order number as the payment reference. This helps us allocate your payment correctly and prevents delays in processing. Depending on your bank, the transfer may take several working days to reach our account.
PayPal (up to max. EUR 500)
You can use PayPal to pay for your order online. After selecting this payment method, you will be redirected to PayPal to confirm the payment. You will then return to our shop and receive your order confirmation. Once the payment has been confirmed successfully, your order can be processed.
PayPal is available for orders up to €500. If a refund is issued through PayPal, the amount will be credited back to the PayPal account used for the payment.
PayPal Buyer Protection
If a problem occurs with your order, we recommend contacting us directly first. This gives us the opportunity to review the situation with you and work out what can be done.
Under certain conditions, PayPal also allows you to open a dispute. Whether a claim is accepted and a refund is issued depends on PayPal's review and applicable terms. Please refer to PayPal's buyer protection information for full details.
Additional Payment Methods via PayPal
PayPal Checkout
Additional payment options may be available through PayPal during checkout. Depending on the selected method, you may be redirected to PayPal's website to enter your payment details and confirm the transaction.

Credit card via PayPal
You can also pay by credit card through PayPal. You do not necessarily need a PayPal account to use this option. After you enter and confirm your card details, the payment is processed through PayPal and your card provider. Further instructions will be shown during checkout.
Direct debit via PayPal
If PayPal offers direct debit for your order, you can authorise payment by bank debit. By confirming the payment, you grant the required direct debit mandate. PayPal will inform you about the debit and arrange the collection according to its applicable terms.

Invoice via PayPal
If PayPal offers invoice payment for your order, you can pay the invoice according to PayPal's terms. This payment method may depend on a successful address and credit check. If the transaction is approved, the claim is transferred to PayPal, and payment must then be made to PayPal.
