BLANKETS, SADDLE ACCESSORIES, BREASTPLATE, and much more – Comfort and style
Western saddle accessories include many components that complete your saddle for everyday use. This category includes blankets, pads, tie straps, off billets, stirrups and breastplates, together with other useful accessories for training, shows and tournaments.
Tie straps and off billets need to match the length, width and rigging of the Western saddle. Together, they form the connection between the saddle and cinch. Blankets and pads also need a suitable fit. They should provide sufficient coverage between saddle and horse without creating unnecessary folds or pressure points.
- Western horse blankets: summer sheets, coolers, stable blankets and transition blankets for different uses
- Western saddle pads: pads used between the saddle and the horse's back
- Tie straps: saddle straps for attaching the Western cinch, available in leather or durable nylon
- Off billets: matching straps used to attach the Western cinch to the saddle
- Stirrups: wooden and aluminum options with different tread designs and dimensions
- Breastplates: additional equipment connecting the saddle and horse for specific requirements and setups
- Other saddle accessories: saddle screws, fender straps, saddle straps and practical additions for your Western saddle
When choosing Western saddle accessories, pay particular attention to fit, measurements, material and intended use. Tie straps and off billets must match the existing saddle rigging and cinch. For blankets and pads, the horse's back shape, saddle size and intended use all play a role. For shows and tournaments, color, material and decorative details can also be important.
Many components can be replaced or added individually. This allows you to adjust your Western saddle setup to your horse, saddle and intended use without replacing the complete equipment.
