Leather throat strap adapter
This leather throat strap adapter from Cattlemans/GVR lets you attach a throatlash to a one-ear or two-ear western headstall. The set contains two adapters, fitted on the left and right sides of the neck strap. The throatlash is then threaded through the designated eyelet. The two eyelets are different sizes for different straps: the smaller eyelet is designed for a 1/2-inch throatlash, while the larger one is intended for a 5/8-inch neck strap. The adapters are available in black, brown, russet, chestnut and dark chestnut. Depending on current stock, they are supplied with or without ear-of-wheat tooling. Silver-Plated Ball Bit-End 10 mm

When used on a headstall, it is suitable only for cheekpieces fitted with leather thongs. Before installation, check that the existing attachment matches this fitting.
