The WEAVER western reins from the Pro Tack series are 1/2 inch wide and made from US harness leather. The leather is already oiled, and the split reins are described as very soft and comfortable to hold. Slightly heavier ends add weight and give the reins a more substantial feel in the hand. At 8 ft long, approximately 240 cm. Water loops attach the reins to the bit. This makes them an option for Western riders who prefer narrower harness leather reins with a soft feel and a little extra weight at the ends.
