Western reins 1/2" harness leather

Cattlemans/GVR

Product information "Western reins 1/2" harness leather"

These 1/2" harness leather western reins are made for riders who prefer a substantial rein that is still supple in use. The harness leather is very thick while remaining supple. The slightly heavier front and end sections give the reins a pleasantly heavy feel in the hand. This combines the narrow 1/2" width with a notably substantial leather construction.

The width of 1/2" corresponds to approx. 1.3 cm. With a length of 7-1/2 ft, or approx. 230 cm, the reins have the length stated on the product page for use with western tack. They are supplied as a complete pair of western reins. The reins are from Cattlemans/GVR by Yellowstone.

SAFETY INFORMATION & INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

We take great care to only use the highest quality of materials while manufacturing our products. But as all material used in saddlery products (leather, nylon, poly web, cotton, etc.) is perishable, it will wear out. Therefor it is vital to properly check, clean, use and maintain your saddlery products. Before every ride, give your tack a thorough inspection. Look for any signs of wear and tear.

Beware of the signs of excessive wear in both leather and other material used, such as stiffness, cracking, stretching, elongated holes, change of shape, dryness, loose screws, broken parts, limpness, excessive stretch or wear, loose or worn stitching, etc. Even hardware needs to be checked, cleaned and maintained before each use.

Make sure to properly fit your product, as an ill-fitting product can cause discomfort, soreness and even injury to the horse. Make sure you use the correct size and attach your products correctly. When in doubt, ask a professional for assistance. A small issue left unnoticed could escalate into a dangerous situation while riding!
